1 full time position available Job Description: Under general
supervision, provides physical therapy services to infants, toddlers, school
aged children and adolescents. Clinical knowledge of physical therapy
techniques, evaluation tools and equipment for identified age appropriate levels
with specific knowledge of evaluation and intervention techniques used with
pediatric diagnoses of developmental delay, sensory integration impairment,
cerebral palsy, autism, traumatic brain injury, orthopedic conditions,
neuromuscular neurological and congenital/medically fragile conditions.
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology in the treatment of infants, toddlers and
school aged children with neurological, medical and developmental dysfunction
normally acquired through completion of specialized student internships and on
the job experiences. Possessing knowledge of NDT techniques helpful.
- Must have written and oral communication skills necessary to complete
documentation requirements in a timely manner and to participate in an
interdisciplinary team.
- Interpersonal skills required for interacting effectively with a wide
variety of staff and therapeutically with patients and families to achieve
optimum communication.
- Must be a self-starter with good organizational skills.
- Must have the ability to assess, design and implement therapeutic programs
based on analysis and observation of behaviors and performance.
- Must have the ability to adhere to the organizations' policy and
procedures and fulfill the State of Florida's continuing education licensure
requirements.
Credentials:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Licensed by the State of Florida as a Physical Therapist
- Must maintain a current certification in CPR-Healthcare Provider, and Aids
Prevention Certification.
Staff Speech Language Pathologist
3 full time positions available Job Description: Under general
supervision, provides speech and language therapy services to infants, toddlers,
school aged children and adolescents. Clinical knowledge of speech, language,
phonology and swallowing/oral motor techniques, evaluation tools and equipment
for identified age appropriate levels with specific knowledge of evaluation and
intervention techniques used with pediatric diagnoses of developmental delay,
sensory integration impairment, cerebral palsy, autism, traumatic brain injury,
orthopedic conditions, neuromuscular neurological and congenital/medically
fragile conditions. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology in the treatment of
infants, toddlers and school aged children with neurological, medical and
